B.A.R.K. Practice Sessions

We have access to our practice yard at Mt. Ida on Tuesday and Thursday evenings and on weekends. We practice together in small groups, members usually working together at the same time each week. Most often there is a practice leader who comes with a course set-up and exercises they'd like to try.

To participate in the B.A.R.K. practice sessions, you must join the club. To join, you are invited to visit one of our practice sessions to see if you and your dog work together in a way that's compatible with our club mandate. Your dog must be under verbal control and reasonably comfortable on all the equipment - weaves still in training is fine. You must be aware of the dangers inherent in agility training and demonstrate safe training. We only use positive training techniques and not harsh corrections, so choke, shock collars or any other adversive methods are not acceptable. We also expect all members to be willing to help set-up and take down equipment at practice.

The annual practice fee is $75 for one dog and $100 if you are working with more than one. If you would like to arrange to come to a practice, please email us and let us know a little about you and your dog, along with any questions you may have. B.A.R.K is a member run club. There are no paid professionals. If you join, we hope you get involved!
